What is Clear V™?
Clear V uses the latest in laser technology with its unique vein illumination technology to allow your clinician to precisely visualize and treat vessels, broken capillaries, spider veins, vascular lesions, and discoloration of your skin that you can and can’t see.
What can Clear V™ do for you?
Clear V™ will help restore your skin tone and color. Broken capillaries and other visible vascular structure will be gently eliminated from the upper layer of your skin surface. Unwanted vessels will be heated by the laser energy and become less noticeable.

What areas can be treated?
All areas can be treated. Most popular are on the face, neck, chest and legs.
How does the Clear V™ Vein illumination work?
The Clear V™ handpiece is uniquely designed to visualize veins beneath the skin’s surface with yellow or orange light which are integrated into the handpiece. This unique technology provides 3 brightness intensities to enhance visibility, allowing for a more thorough and effective treatment.
What will happen during the procedure?
All eyes in the room will be protected with safety shield or glasses. Laser energy will be delivered precisely to the area of your skin being treated. You may briefly feel a warm or hot sensation as the laser pulse are absorbed by the unwanted vessels. Your procedure may take a few minutes to a half an hour depending on the area being treated.
What should I expect after the treatment?
Everyone’s responses can vary. Redness and swelling around the treated vessel (s) are usually seen within a few minutes. A sunburn sensation and a slight feeling of soreness are also normal and expected. These reactions tend to subside within 24-48 hours after the treatment. After 48 hours, the skin over the treated veins will look slightly red, purple, or bruised. Sometimes the veins even look more visible than prior to treatment. This is all normal. Within the first two to three weeks the redness and purple color will begin to fade. Each week, the color will become lighter and the veins will become less noticeable. Expect optimal results to be noticeable about four weeks post treatment.
What will I need for after care?
Strictly avoid any sun exposure to the treated area for a minimum of 7 days after the procedure. The area could be more prone to sunburn and pigmentation change. Keep area covered and use a sunblock with SPF 30 or greater.
To reduce achiness or discomfort after Clear V™ treatment, use of support hose is helpful.
How many treatments will I need?
Subsequent treatments may be needed based on your clinician’s recommendations.
